Can Puppy 5.1 be installed on a hard drive?

Installed puppy on a USB thumb drive and it works fine.
Can you install puppy to a regular hdd as all other distros that I have installed?

I can use the USB as a rescue and recovery drive but
would like to have it on the hdd.

Yes you can. Frugal install is usual way. You can use puppy universal installer for that. I use grub as boot loader. I have many puppies in different subdirs in harmony at the same partition, in fact Ubuntu Lucid also.

and full install also works via the universal installer, but you need to remember the gotcha in that sfs's don't work unless installed with the sfsinstaller pet, not the Bootmanager config at startup.
