#1 Post by festus »

Good afternoon everyone,

I installed bionicpup32, frugal to USB, on a friend's "Acer" desktop a couple days ago, and need help getting his printer, Canon Pixma TS202 , to work for him.

Any help is appreciated

Thanks to all replies

Maybe you need the driver
https://canon-print.com/canon-pixma-ts2 ... s-drivers/
Probably need to get the debian package for Linux.

Install driver and see if Cups can find and setup the printer.
The things they do not tell you, are usually the clue to solving the problem.
When I was a kid I wanted to be older.... This is not what I expected :shock:
YaPI(any iso installer)

@bigpup

Thanks for the driver link.

This printer will be for a small business, so my friend decided what with printers being so cheap in price, to buy a new HP printer.

I advised him HP's are usually relatively easy to install.

Thank you, bigpup, and any who looked at this thread...
