Xorg 7.5

#1 Post by joel »

Xorg 7.5 has been out for a while now, does anyone know if anyone has compiled his and made a pet of it? It has some new features that would be nice to have and I'd like to upgrade mine from 7.3. Ive check in the forums bu I can seem to find anyone talking about it.
I am not a Mac, not a PC... I am a Puppy.

What are you currently running?

Is there any particular reason not to just upgrade to a Puppy with a newer Xorg?

If you're set on the 4 series, take a look at Fluppy. It's 4.3 based, but has the Xorg from Quirky.

I am running Puppy 4.31 and I believe it has xorg 7.3. I tried puppy 5 but to be honest I was very disappointed with it and 4.31 seems much more stable. I also wasnt happy with the direction Puppy 5 took. So I think I will stick with 4.31 until Barry is ready for a new version. Thats why I was hoping just to update Xorg instead of switching versions. It too much work on a full install.
