Excellent. How does 46 seconds compare to the time for a native Windows print test?

Hi again,

That test page is specific to CUPS 1.4.3, so I could scan that printed page in Windows and reprint from there, but I do not think that would be exactly equivalent.

However, from 12 years experience with Windows I'm pretty sure a fair comparison would be about 30 to 35" so I am well pleased.

The final problem is to try to get my ancient scanner working in Puppy. Forum members Aitch and Mobeus have been really helpful, but I have yet to win. I'll give everyone a rest for a couple of weeks and then raise a specific thread.
