What's a good way to print pictures?

#1 Post by kozak6 »

Do any of the applications that ship with Lupu 5.11 offer an easy way to print pictures from an SD card?

I ended up installing and using GIMP, but there were some problems there. It printed some black pages, and I had some messages about "directory missing or deleted". Eventually, it stopped seeing the SD card at all. It also doesn't seem practical to use it with a live CD since it chewed through all the memory in short order.

mtpaint
File > Actions > Print Image

Set it up in File > Actions > Configure > Print Image
with lpr -P <yourprinter> %f.

lpr %f might work also.

Does printoxx do what you want?
(search the forum for it if it isn't included in 5.11)

One person liked gtklp for printing images... but I'm not sure if they were trying to achieve the same thing as you.
Do you know a good gtkdialog program? Please post a link here
