In Lupu I also tried to compile gxine/xinelib.. epic fail.
Be aware that the iso will grow somewhat. There are a ton of libs needed for a good ffmpeg, which IMO is the best, lightest media 'library' around. Compiling shared libs for ffmpeg seemed to work well. I'll give some things a try and hopefully there will be good multimedia support in this thingy.
(appendix... keep with 'dpup' monicker IMO for iso.. there are no toes to be trodden on )
