Came across this while searching and it's worth looking at.
It's not that hard to do!
It's a core linux product but maybe it could be incorporated into Woof.

@scsijon Do you want a live-cd that boots from both BIOS and UEFI? Just look at this thread http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=109396. It is tested on virtualbox with UEFI enabled
