DVDStyler is a cross-platform free DVD authoring application for the creation of professional-looking DVDs. It allows not only burning of video files on DVD that can be played practically on any standalone DVD player, but also creation of individually designed DVD menus. It is Open Source Software and is completely free.

Although the site says 2.9b1 is available, I couldn't find the source, so 2.8rc3 is the newest as far as I can tell.

IMPORTANT!
Just remembered, Configuration->Settings->Core, untick "Use mplex for menus" otherwise FFMPEG will throw errors out until you kill the task.
Where possible I used the dependencies found in the Carolina repository and if not, the same version... but DVDStyler required newer versions of everything... so nothing is found in the repo
Be warned this contains a new FFMPEG, which is quite a core upgrade. Hmm, by the looks of things though, there's been a significant FFMPEG update, but this isn't it. Bad timing on my behalf I guess. I'll look into that soon.

If you'd like to preview the menus xine is required. The version in the repos is not compatible because of the new FFMPEG, so I had to recompile. This is a slightly newer version from the one in the repo anyway.
