How to attend a Linux Foundation meeting |
|
First you need a way to use IRC
the suggested method is Gaim from Puppy but there are others - you can use any browser or even Operating Systems other than Puppy
Here is how to set up for the Foundation Channel
http://puppylinux.org/wikka/PuppyLinuxIRC
Here is a video about setting up Gaim
http://rhinoweb.us/howtopuppyircgaim.htm
Check when the next meet is

Make sure you know what the time and day is in you part of the world.
Try and keep people on topic - we have a chat channel IRC for those wanting to chat or seek advice on using Puppy
Hey there is a meeting tonight . . .

Good thing you made this post, or I would have forgotten again. I'm going to set the alarm on my watch to remind me, just to be sure Don't wait for me, though, because I'm not sure that I'll be able to commondeer my computer at that specific time, but I should be able to get in sometime.

Cold weather problems forces me to miss meeting |
|
Due to hard freeze expected tonight I had to round up the livestock and lock-them-in, It took most of the day preping the housing that they have not used all season. With good health it would have only taken an hour, but I've been so weak that it took 6 hours. Hope that you all missed me, I look foreward to reading the transcript.

Glad you were able to get your work done - you can still add comments before or after the meeting
