 I now have sound on my Toshiba Tecra 780dvd.
The alsa found the sound card and set it up right. I have never got it to work with any other of the pups. GREAT WORK . I have sevral other pc,s to try it on later to see how pup 2 works on them. _________________ the fix is out thier |

Have to agree..............ALSA works great in Puppy2. I only have one problem. When I use MPlayer, the sound is very jumpy and uneven. This never happened with 107. If I play MP3s with XMMS, sound is great. Any suggestions? BTW..as a test distro, Puppy2 is VERY impressive. Great job to Barry and all involved. While I'm at it...............Big Thanks to all forum participants. PUPPY NATION LIVES. |
