How to remove "Built In Packages" from Tahrpup64?

#1 Post by Dios_y_Janjo »

Hello Dogs !!!!

Is there a "safe list" somewhere that can tell me the actual use of the "built in packages" found in Tahrpup64 ?

I would like to slim it down the most that I could only leaving the vital components like XServer, Window Manager, Internet, etc and leaving out games, dictionaries, extra components that we don't really use

THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HELP !!!
GOD LOVES US ALL =-) =-)

removing built-in packages

/usr/sbin/remove_builtin in a terminal should open up the gui. it'll give you a drop-down list of removable built-ins. i'm not using tahrpup, but it's a pretty standard utility. you could also check in /usr/share/applications/ for the icon/(clickable).desktop file for remove-built-in ("/rem" will take you to it once you're in the aforementioned folder). another route is the main/right click menu: Setup > Remove built in packages (it's towards the bottom of that pipe menu).

woofy allows you to remove built-ins from an iso you're not currently running.
