Sub_title: extract flash video from executable presentations

exe2swf is a tool to extract SWF files from Windows or Mac OS executables.

I had a handful of those (Windows-)executable flash videos/presentations left over from my time on WinXP, and this was a far better solution than running them via WINE. The end result is one or several flash video files- *.swf- which you should be able to play in a web browser, if you have flash installed. (You might get lucky with some media players, but I've had awful luck- the browsers seem to work best.)

I've not tested it on Mac OS executable videos/presentations, as I have never actually encountered one.

The package is 6 KB, and once installed it's about 28 KB.
