Hola a todos tengo una duda vi en lugares en ingles, que pusieron una forma de poner una contraseña de entrada al puppuy linux, sin embargo no entidno como, me podrian explicar como para alguien q no entiende mucho? mil gracias |

Versiones normales de Puppy no son adecuados para uso como sistemas de multi-usuarios. Y, ya que el 'login' es automatico, la contrasena es tambien automatico. Usted necesita usar unos de los 'multi-user' derivados para tener el sistema que desea. |

Using Babelfish, as I don't speak/read Spanish very well (only enough that the subject line caught my eye).... The only time you need a password is if you try to log into a command line terminal (you _can_ access terminals other than the GUI window). In that case, your username is "root" and the default password is "woofwoof". However, there are some versions of Puppy which have been set up as multi-user, if that is desirable. no quiero un sistema multiusuarios... quiero que cuando acceda a mi version live, que no cualquiera pueda hacerlo y me pida una contraseña o algo asi. |

(Note: I use Babelfish to translate the text for me) You can create an encrypted pupsave. However, a filesystem check on bootup is not possible at this time. You could also create a Truecrypt volume, and store files inside. This doesn't protect the contents of the pupsave, but protect any files placed in the Truecrypt volume. Either of those give you password protection, depending on your implementation.
