I informed a couple of people that I had already finalised
Puppy 1.0.8 and will upload it tomorrow.
However, a serious bug has been discovered. Blinky is causing
trouble, see thread:

So, I intend to finalise v1.0.8 24 hours from now, and probably
upload it on Thursday 23rd.
I'm very keen to get 1.0.8 out the door, so I can get back onto
puppy2!!!!

I'm testing an older Blinky. This was the second patch created by lior2b, still using the original rectangular LEDs.
When I first started it, top showed
RSS = 2116 %MEM = 0.9
When I dialed the internet, the interface appeared in the taskbar
and
RSS = 2144 %MEM = 0.9
after awhile it grew to
RSS = 2264 %MEM = 1.0
and stayed there.
I've been online for 50 minutes, and RSS has stayed at 2264.
So, this version of blinky seems okay.
