Thanks for testing
the reason why that is missing is because I updated during the backend gtk update libltdl.so.7.3.0 or libltdl.so.7 was installed.
Probably a system link would make it work, but I'll compile the latest, like same with the missing lib in abiword, I'll just compile both packages and update it to the next release.

with both browsers installed Htop shows 42 MB of ram used at bootup, but when I only had 1 installed it was 36MB.
I like the low resources thing, probably the reason why I'm taking this project further than first anticipated.

kind of but, in my outside world, my wife is 40 weeks pregnant and her due date is today, but when she went to the doctors they said the baby's not engaged yet and that she'll have a C-section next wednesday. They estimate the baby at 4KG.

Hi ttuuxxx,
I had no problem running dpup-484 on an ext4 partition formatted with dpup's gparted. I ran both a full hd installation and a frugal installation with journaled 3fs save file. Gposil was one of the earliest supporters of an ext4 file system. Please don't drop dpup support of ext4 partitions.
Cheers,
Jim

Hi Jim this version was based before 484, it was the 476. I don't think it had ext4 added to it. Here's a list of Gparted features.

ttuuxxx | Nice feature list, but I wonder why udf is always left out.
Would be nice to be able write to CD/DVD RW media as if it where a HDD.

Thanks for the responses guys, on page one I have a Voters Question. Please vote, its up for 5 days, And only users of this version of Dpup please vote, since really ts about how flash plays with Dpup and Seamonkey/Firefox

I voted for Firefox to be the default browser but SeaMonkey does seem to be getting much better since making it into the 2 series.

Hi James
yes I voted for Firefox also, its just has a lot more useful plugins and themes. But I could live with either or, If Seamonkey wins then I'll retheme it.
The next vote will be, should I expand the apps to more of gnome backend or reduce the iso size by removing them and stick to a traditional backend
gnome backend would be more like
epdf <--puppy
evince<-- gnome
Gaculator<-- puppy
Gcalctool <--Gnome
small game <-- puppy
Gweled <--Gnome
lxtask<-- puppy
Gnome Task Manager <-- Gnome
jwm <-- puppy
MetaCity and some panel plus jwm as a alternative <--Gnome
The Gnome apps are way better quality, but at the price of a larger gnome library backend In dpup, This version of dpup currently doesn't run in ram on 128mb systems, where as 2.14x still does, I'm not sure if once I delete one of the two browsers if it will then run in ram or not, probably I would think so. If I reduce the gnome backend in Dpup, I might be able to reduce the overall size by about 10-15MB compressed, but It wouldn't be able to use the Debian repo, due to so many Debian Gnome libs would be removed, but the iso would be around 110-115MB.
