Re: Puppy can't find a carrier for my wireless modem
Have you used that modem with windows or another linux? If not, perhaps you haven't set up the correct profile in it yet? Password, network, etc.alftabor wrote:Puppy finds my wireless modem

Once my modem profile is right, all I need to change in the default PupDial screen is to set the phone number to *99# (I leave PupDial's username, password, etc., etc., at their default filler values.)

alftabot, I sometimes have this also with my wireless connection.
Mostly it goes away by itself.
Sometimes I have to re-configure.
Shep, a wireless connection isn't a dial-up connection.
