That wasn't what kept me away from linux. I always knew that I didn't use or need most of the stuff that microsoft had in their products. I was creating a spreadsheet, and tried to add cell X to cell Y, I had to use some kind of sientific(spelling?) formula to do it. I didn't care for that at all.
What kept me away was ease of use. I think I got past that with puppy tho.
I like puppy so much that I formated my hard drive and put puppy on it.
Puppy has a lot that I don't need or use, but that's ok, it's small and very fast, I just use the things I want and have no complaints about the things that I don't
I have Simply Mepis, but I find myself booting puppy considerably more often. I'm using Mepis right now, The only reason I booted it this time because I hadn't used it in a few weeks.

The truth is out there.
