Battery meter not correct 5.2, superficial bug

#1 Post by shadowspawn »

Just a strange one.

Laptop closed, battery went near-dry on a Thinkpad T40 (using a flash-usb install), stole the wife's power supply, plugged back in.

Not till later I saw that the battery meter still said 0%, discharging. Hm. Repeated it again, same thing.

For giggles I tested on a T60 with my USB install. Fully charged, unplugged let it drain. Battery hits alarm through bios, plug back in with lid closed, let it charge all the way back (using laptop's LED as indicator of full charge), open lid, battery meter still says 0% discharging.

-edit-
I never peeked during progress by opening the screen, just let it charge all the way.

Pelo
