gmfsk

#1 Post by 666philb »

i was on puppylinux chat when a request was made by 'ly2le' for a pet of 'gmfsk' for wary. It's available for lucid from the ubuntu repos, so i thought i'ld have a go at making one for wary. Unfortunately i haven't been able to, i can get 'gmfsk' to work, but it errors out saying it can't save any configuration data. I also tried to compile it but wasn't able to. I've come up with a makeshift solution but don't know if it's fully working as i'm not familiar with 'gsmfk'. So if anyones up for compiling this for wary, and for more info on 'gmfsk' the source code is here .....

Also, if anyone's familiar with gmfsk and would like to test my franken-effort (ripped out of sailnop puplet)you can download it here......

this should work on any puppy and any distro. to run it extract anywhere, and click 'gmfsk.cde' in /gmfsk/cde-package/
Note: you will have to choose your sound device in the preferences menu

aah well :) someone might compile it.. If you want a fully working version.... you could burn yourself a sailpup cd and just boot live when you want to use it. Here's a link.....
