Reborn is a linux version of rebirth. ReBirth RB-338 is a software synthesizer, it emulates two Roland TB-303 synthesizers, a Roland TR-808, and a Roland TR-909 drum machine all at once. Each of the emulated devices has its own pattern selector, a feature the original devices are lacking.
I stumbled across this, it's really quite old, and i can't find any newer versions. I presuming that development stopped for what ever reason. So it isn't as polished as it's windows counterpart, and there a few things not working 100%.
However it.s still damn good fun, and a nice toy for puppy. It includes 2 extra mods which can be loaded through the mod browser. and a selection of demo tunes, which you should have a listen to, so as to get an idea of what it's capable of. Whilst they're playing, why not twiddle some knobs and press some buttons and see what stuff does.To view the help file/manual you may need to set you browser in the configure menu (it's default is netscape!!!:) )
