i have had great sucess with my recently burned 1.06 multi-session, and have attempted to burn at least three more versions to keep onhand.
when i burned it, i took it out of my burner and placed it into the cd drive of a desktop, running win2k.
after rebooting the puppy attempts to load, asks the normal questions about if im updating to this version, if not, press enter...etc...i just press enter as im testing it....
it errors out and refuses to load telling it can find /root, etc...it then says, pausing for 60 seconds, and stops completely,
but, if i take that same errored out puppy and load that cd into this laptop (the one i use with no hard drive) it loads it fine, and im ready to go.
if i take my good puppy 1.06 that i have been using on this laptop for about a month now, and attempt to load it into the desktop, same error.
so, i tried both puppyś on two differing laptops, one running xp and another running 2000, neither one loads.
so, what gives on that?
