wine & scratch

#1 Post by slvent »

I launched scratch.exe on wine environment. It's wonderful.

scratch is an educational programming tool especially for children. MIT is developing this tool.

Is there already a pet on this educational program?

So that i could install this without the wine.

Looks like they are working on a linux version...

Windows or linux is about the 31MB mark...seems like they use a cutdown version of java as all the online stuff uses it...

Thank you everybody.

I downloaded the linux version scratch from the link above. And, did not use 'tgz2pet' and just unzipped it. Well, I installed the scratch according to the instruction. Good!

It works very well and fast. Thank you for your information.
