GLIB problem with RawTherapee 2.4.1 (WhoDo .pet)

#1 Post by paulh177 »

I've installed WhoDo's .pet of RawTherapee (http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=57236) on my Puppy 4.3.1 frugal on Acer AOA150

First problem was it complained about missing a lot of libraries (*mm-*.so*) ... copying these over from Lucid leads to this ...

Code: Select all

# ./rtstart
./rt: /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.11' not found (required by /usr/lib/libcairomm-1.0.so.1)
#
(I can't move over to Lucid yet as wireless is utterly unreliable on the Acer)

be good to get some help .... thanks in advance

That is almost certainly your problem. Lucid's glibc is too new for packages compiled against it to work on 4.3.1
Find the libs somewhere else (maybe try really old debian or slackware packages if you can't find old Puppy packages) or install RawTherapee in a newer puppy.
Do you know a good gtkdialog program? Please post a link here

Classic Puppy quotes

ROOT FOREVER
GTK2 FOREVER
