Truecrypt 7.1a - cannot open file

#1 Post by sredmon »

Using Precise Puppy 5.4.1. I am able to create truecrypt file, but cannot open it. When I try to mount, I get popup window with "No such file or directory. dmsetup".

For some reason that sounds familiar...

I wonder if that is related to the encryption not being built into the kernel?

Thank you - that was a simple solution. As you suggested in the link to a previous post: in TC Settings/Preferences/System Integration, check "Do not use kernel cryptographic services".

All is well.
