Did you check to see if the printer was installed? Those error messages don't apply to Puppy.

From the How-To:
In most cases, you can ignore any error messages from the debbi script.
Also, you need to install TWO packages for your printer - the LPR driver and the cupswrapper driver.

I did a simulated install of your printer and it looks fine.

thank you very much for your quick reply, but i never needed the cup environment for printing,(i was on ubuntu) that s why i didn't download the cupswrapper package. Anyway, i got to download the cupwrapper even i dont use the cup environment for printing?

In the time it took you to ask the question, you could have installed the cupswrapper package and answered it yourself.

Puppy uses CUPS. How else were you planning to print?

I did and : IT WORKS . Thanks a lot, sorry but i thought it was more difficult to configure. I will have lot of questions because i ve got problem with my webcam, with grub, if it's as easy as the printer configuration i think i ll stay with macpup ( i made this choice because my 11 years pc was too old for ubuntu i feel that ubuntu becomes more and more fat for my old material)
anyway THANK YOU.
