Gimp 2.6 AnimatedText .gifs

#1 Post by bill »

Hi all,I have come to the conclusion using animated gifs for sending several
pages of Text would be a great idea but this AnimatedText.gif should have a
(s)top/(c)ontinue function for users to read at their own speed.Does anyone have a suggestion ,how to accomplish this (maybe with a plugin ?) or maybe
a different graphics editor ?.Thanks in advance.cheers bill

After viewing your example, if the gif waits a set time before displaying the next page, for a slow reader, a pause button would also be needed.
I do not have enough experience with Gimp and animated gifs to offer anything more.

Thanks 8-bit for stopping by.There is a brilliant example of this technique by simply clicking on the screen by a fellow in the UK.Of course this is .html and using JavaScript but requires a server and a video.Still I felt it pretty impressive:Just mouse click on the screen.
