TOR-Browser Bundle Complete + TOR-Vidalia 1.1.8

#1 Post by playdayz »

TOR-Browser Bundle 1.1.8
http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/dis ... ucid52.pet
The complete package with TOR and Firefox. for anonymous browsing for people in countries where the government restricts internet access. If TOR stalls on opening, run Psync--evidently TOR needs accurate internet time.

TOR-Vidalia
http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/dis ... ucid52.pet
TOR and the gui Vidalia without any browser for those who can donate bandwidth to the TOR project--for those in countries that do not restrict access to the internet. If TOR stalls on opening, run Psync--evidently TOR needs accurate internet time. Then click Setup Relaying.

Info on TOR -> http://www.torproject.org/

Some info from previous version thread.
It works on pup431, with the plugins here "/opt/tor-browser_en-US/App/Firefox/plugins".

Also, in the lower right corner of the tor-browser is a "Tor Enabled" button. Right-click >preferences>security settings>dynamic content>uncheck disable plugins and retoggle Tor.

For untrusted sites, you may also have to change the "s" >options>embeddings>uncheck forbid flash.

I want a way to run a version of puppy linux that is stripped of everything
but a vidalia relay hub, Like browser Linux but only vidalia as a relay hub.

Do you think this is possible?

Which puppy Linux would you recommend to use as a base if I want to use your pet?

Is there a very stripped Lucid Puppy?
