No sound on acer AO 522

Hi! I have downloaded puppy 5.2.5 (lupu-525.iso) and I have made a bootable USB flash with this ISO. Ok. Puppy run on my acer AO 522 but sound no works (controller ati high definition audio device -conexant high definition audio). How can I fix it? thanks in advance. |

Maybe specifying in detail the diagnostic steps you did take already. Did you run the ALSA sound wizard again? On first boot, didn't you get the two barks? _________________ Time savers: Find packages in a snap and install using Puppy Package Manager (Menu). Consult Wikka Use peppyy's puppysearch |

yes. 1)After search following cards are found: HDA-intel ati tecnologies inc SBx00 azalia (intel HDA) (rev 40) legacy Probe: legacy isa usb-audio override:usb sound device aoa ovverride:apple onboard audio 2) I chose HDA-intel ati (the first) ok I see: configuring snd-hda-intel Please answer yes here so puppy will use driver on next boot Do you want to modify etc/modprobe.d/alsa.conf? YES 3) I see "soud driver configured" OK. 4) I see Loading driver... Setting default volumes.. alsa wizard "The mixer is set up now for playing shall i try to paly a sound sample now?" YES I start also alsamixer F6: 0 HD_AUDIO generic 1 HDA ATI SB I chose N 1 (HDA ATI) and now I can see master line volume. F5 I see all (capture and mic) But on sound icon on tray bar I can't change volume and if I run a Mp3 file with gnome player the file is always stopped.

yes..for "Right-click the speaker icon in the system tray and choose Full Window. Enable Master, PCM, Front and any others that seem likely and also turn up the volume in each. This should fix things a good percentage of the time. If not, then please try Menu -> Setup -> Alsa Sound Wizard." but No item to select for the other action see above. Thanks |
