Flickr vs 500px

I personally use Picasaweb to show off some photographic stuff, but since photography is just a nice pastime for me, i don't have the urge to sell. Picasaweb serves the need to back up files, mostly.

But some of you might find uselful this article.

In a word, Flickr is good for linking to blogs, because of its larger base of viewers, whereas 500px is better at showing off very good photographs, largely to other photographers, that tend to not buy anything, therefore the complaining in the article.
