Paint.NET

#1 Post by shadowtroop »

I would love to be able to use paint.net. I don't want to use GIMP or Inkscape or any of the other stuff. Paint.NET is the best and most customizable.

However, it uses the .NET framework. And it won't run in wine.

And I don't know how mono works either.

Is it possible to have Paint.NET?

Why not use Photoshop Portable in Wine? It runs perfectly for me. (After adding a DLL to Wine's system32 to fix the Text Tool problem).

That would require a licensed copy of Photoshop, wouldn't it?

Why do you say Paint.NET won't work in Wine? Have you installed the appropriate version of the .NET framework?
Do you know a good gtkdialog program? Please post a link here
