just tried it, seems definitely much faster than Vanguard Carolina!.
Firefox browsing much faster.
Searching/loading icons in xfce launcher properties is much, much faster (extremely slow in Vanguard).
How is it different from?
zagreb.iso-lite edition vlina 1.3

there may be other issues.
1st problem: when i opened the home partition in devices, it did not show the folders/files stored in that partition: instead it showed the root or filesystem of Zagreb.
2nd problem: Pale Moon could not find the login screen for the public wifi hotspot i'm using-- just returned a "can't find" page. But, portable Firefox was able to find the login page.
3rd problem: Setting Thunar default view does not work. See screenshot.
how i installed: drag copied the Zagreb files to a Zagreb folder in sda3, then ran grub4dos, which put menu.lst into the boot partition (sda1).
Clearly, this pup has some issues, but dang, it is fast! Instead of trying to fix the bugs, can it's speed be implemented in Vanguard-r2?
Please share how you made this fast with the community, so the speed can be implemented in other xfce puppies!
thx!
(note to others, in puppy first-boot setup, be sure to change 'hardware locale' to your country, or your keyboard will be scrambled. It's set to Croatia OOTB)

INITIAL TEST
This Pup is well worth taking for a spin. It is based on Slacko 5.9.3 and uses Stemsee’s 3.19.2-EmSee-32-pae (i686) kernel.
Whilst the log files show some errors they seem benign. The addition of the Whisker menu to the XFCE4 environment as shown below adds to its usability.
Thanks go to zagreb999 for this excellent Pup.
