GSDJVU contains two specialized drivers for the program GHOSTSCRIPT. These drivers process the PS or PDF file and produce an output that separates the foreground objects from the background objects. This separation can be used to generate DJVU documents.

notes::I tried to patch latest ghostscript version with gsdjvu (9.02), but patching failed, it seems that gsdjvu is non longer compatible with latest ghostscript releases.
