Why have not my Display card to install run on puppy linux ?

Hello ,

i Running Puppy version 5.7.1, released Aug 2013 .

I love Puppy small size and have support read Chinese and type chinese , very good !

This is good OS system , very easy to used .

You'll likely get a better answer - but what I'd do is click the personal storage space icon in the tray and it pops up a version of the Kernel that you are running. That might provide a clue as to which of the nvidia files to download from here

Or - according to Google Translate :)

Hello ,

i went to this page download nvidia drive ( nvidia-295.20 ) https://archive.org/details/Puppy_Linux ... x_pets_sfsand saw Nvidia Web site http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux-disp ... .20-driver in here support GeForce 9400GT Drive !

But the drive asked me restart X system , this is right or finished?

I believe you have to restart X (or it prompts you to do so) and it runs xorgwizard whilst out of X and you have to select NVIDIA ... and then the resolution (1024x768 or whatever), and then Test ...etc. (Or something like that).
