I went on the search to figure this one out, using various Puppy versions. I then came across tempestuous's post: here Thanks for that, tempestuous. So anyone trying to get this USB wifi device to work, download the pet here and install it. Then run Setup-->Internet Connection Wizard, then select Configure Lan or wireless, then Load Module and pick rt3070sta. It found my Belkin immediately. Then set up wireless as usual. I'm running Puppy 5.2 in this case.
