No Audio on Asus 1001PXD netbook

#1 Post by worldofbooks »

I am unable to get any audio on my Asus 1001PXD netbook. I have run ALSA Sound Wizard which finds the card and loads a driver for it but when I click to play the test sound no audio is heard.

result of LSPCI

i potential think it could be something to do with audio device being rev 02 when rev01 drivers are only available but i am not entirely sure.

Does anyone know of a driver or other fix to get the audio working for this?

Hi worldofbooks,
I don't know if this will help but when alsamixer is open....hit the "tab" key to see if another screen shows up. If so, adjust each level as needed.

The pic below is "tabbed" 3 times to show all available controls.

PS..I am using FatDog beta 5
