I downloaded this file three times.
Three different GZunzippers including WinZip9
all report that all three of the DLs are corrupt
on my WXPpro system.
I downloaded 3 times. Not a likely DL problem.
I tried 3 different unpackers.
What to do ???

boot2pup.imz.gz corrupt
i just downloaded it again, using Firefox
there is a zipped version of the file there, which Windows will probably be happier with
see: http://www.murga.org/~puppy/viewtopic.php?t=52# gunzip -vt boot2pup.img.gz
boot2pup.img.gz: OK

There is a procedure at
http://www.goosee.com/puppy/boot2pup.htm
which I followed exactly.
Step 3 says "download this file"
This link is where I downloaded the file 3 times using 3 different names.
All WIN GZunarchivers report all 3 files to be bad.

I verified the file also - it is fine.
Just need to gunzip it. Probably the problem is with the Windows archiving utilities.
There is a DOS version of gzip attached to this post, if you can't do it in Linux.
Unzip it to a temp directory and read the instructions. You can use it in a DOS shell in a 32 bit environment, or in real DOS mode.
