note: this is a QT4 static app that can work in every puppy version, regardless to dependencies

New update of syncBackup brings a new feature to access remote hosts via shell.
ssh-askpass should need to be installed in your distro if you use authentication by password.

Front-end of rsync for backup purposes. syncBackup relies on rsync back-end.

- It offers the most common options that control its behavior giving most of the power from rsync. - It takes advantage of the delta-transfer algorithm, which reduces the amount of data sent over the network by sending only the differences between the source files and the existing files in the destination. - It finds files that need to be transferred using a \'quick check\' algorithm that looks for files that have changed in size or in last-modified time.

if you want tweak the appearance of this and other qt apps (e.g: enable menu fade and/or animations) , you can use simply download and click to use

replace .co.cc with .info to get access to stuff I posted in forum

Very nice, Dingo (I was looking for an easy way to synchronize drives). Works on Lupu 5.28. Haven't tested any advanced features yet...
