This seems to have improved the connection success rate considerably, although in about 1 out of 5 bootups I'm still not connecting, even after going through the network wizard procedure - the only solution in these instances is to reboot and it usually connects automatically then.tempestuous wrote:First try the "LP-PHY" variant of Broadcom wifi firmware, from here -

If that doesn't work, you will need the proprietary Broadcom wifi driver, compatible with Puppy versions 5.1 - 5.2.8 here -

Follow the instructions in that post carefully, especially the part about blacklisting the "ssb" driver.
