Looks like RealAudio doesn't work (see beginners forum, I forgot to log in as myself there) and it looks like QuickTime doesn't work either, I get:

Xine engine failed to start. No demuxer found - stream format not recognized.

I guess that means QuickTime media is not supported?

i haven't got the quicktime sound to work
video works ok

I have used Gxine to listen to RealAudio, no problem.
