Future of Tablets
Should not Puppy being looking to jump on board something along the tablet PC path. Developing touchscreen interface so that our favorite OS can be ported to these increasingly popular devices?

Yes I thought so too and then I looked at the "Specifications" on a typical such tablet and most even if not all but all of the cheap ones had variations of ARM and them have many different CPU but Tegra is among the more known??????? I know nothing but it may be that way.
Anyway the few tablets that are based on X86? like CPUs are rather expensive.
What is the most cheap such you know about that have reasonable specs?
So until some Dev fall in love with Tergra or similar ARM we are stuck without puppy but we can use Debian instead. Linux is Linux is Linux
But you have the OLP one that is not a Tablet or Pad but small and easy to carry and can be read in sunshine and battery last for a while?
Only them don't sell them in Sweden.
I could have bought this one yesterday for only 799SEK which is roughly a bit more than 100USD. But it is ARM and it has no HDMI output and only 7" screen low resolution and slow CPU and so on.
I talked to the Swedish import firm and them had tested it with USB hub which then allow you to use USB Mouse and USB Keyboard and that way you get a small silent computer for surfing the web. But it is sad it has no HDMI capability. That is needed for my old eyes. _________________
