Well, this is it !
Some of you might remember me as the guy complaining all the time about sound problem wit Via 82xx chipset...
So I grew tired of it and went spending 7US$ on a PCI sound card (Crystal Fusion), so now sound works absolutely perfect, and I am indeed listening to some internet radios, all that in Puppy 1.0.8r1...
As I was in the computer shop, I also spend 21US$ on a PEN DRIVE 256MB MARKV (JOGR), and I am really a happy camper since I installed Puppy 1.0.8r1 in it, all that in 5 mn, following the "install USB drive" wizard...
So I can safely hang around with my OS around my neck (!!!), this must be a geek thing !
I was bicycling to the beach with my OS hanging around my neck !!!
So, that's the story, I feel like saying thanks to Barry and the whole community to make it possible...
Because I also used the new Damn Small Linux 2.3 this past week, it's not bad, but it's nowhere near as good as Puppy. Same applies to Slax...
