Do -it-yourself install Java.....
This is how I do it in macpup. Should work in other pups too...

http://www.smokey01.com/ttuuxxx/2.14X/S ... 1-i386.pet
Runs fine in Wary 5.1.1.

Edit: Actually, it doesn't...just found that during installation, it breaks symlinks in /root/.config/rox.sourceforge.net/OpenWith
So, to be safe, only use it in 2.14x.

It's missing the menu entry; attached here:

it installes ok but the menu entry does not work.. either it to do with the java bin install mentionedbu runtt21 in his post. which worked for me. or wary 5141. but not working.

found the jre.pet is pointing in wrong place for me os i edited the file /usr/share/applications/java-control.desktop and added the line Exec=/usr/java/jre1.6.0_27/bin/jcontrol.

Did you install Java first, before the menu entry?
Did you test it with a fresh 512MB save file?

Ttuuxxx version of java is set up in /opt/java . HiDeHo installed the latest java using my method in /usr/java . Your .desktop file points to /opt/java/jre That will work for ttuuxxx .pet . I have added a desktop.pet in my post about installing java that points to /usr/java . So either way there will be a .desktop file that works for that method.

That's it. Now open firefox and run about:plugins in the address bar and see if java is listed down at the bottom.

That takes care of the browser.
Next:

Go to /usr/java/jre1.6.0_29/bin.
Drag the java file to /usr/local/bin.
Choose Link (relative) to symlink the file.
Now any Java-dependent applications should run.

Also:
Now move the jre-6u29-linux-i586.bin you just downloaded into /usr/java
Delete this after installation is finished.
Then you will recover at least 20MB of save-file space. :)
