"Link quality 0, Signal level 0" Problem

#1 Post by mjclark »

Hi! I'm trying to configure my Belkin Wireless-G PCMCIA card with PupFlux.
The card is detected and in turn scans and detects wireless networks, but whether it's a secure network (and i enter the WEP key correctly and set IP either by DCHP or static method) or an unsecured open network, iwconfig always returns a "link quality 0, signal strength 0" message and I can't connect to the internet.
Please help!

it seem strange that the signal level is 0 but it is there.

my only other suggestions are trying the command line,
