Hello !

Im new here and i want to try Lucid Puppy 5.2.8
I made an boot USB stick. It will boot and some text is there with green "doing" at the end.
Then my Flat Screen switch of. This is a save switch, the resolution or the frequenz is to high for the screen.
In the boot options on F2 or F3 i dont find anything to set the resolution on boot. How can i set a lower resolution an frequenz ?

My english is not so good, please write in easy words Very Happy

Can anyone help me ?

EDIT: Is there a other problem ? No one can help ?

Hello NewPuppyUser,

Welcome to the kennels!

I think the problem is when Puppy starts xwin (the GUI)

At the boot options type

Code:
puppy pfix=nox

this will stop xwin loading and you will get the # prompt instead.

at this prompt type

Code:
xorgwizard

this will let you choose the video settings, after going though the settings type

Code:
xwin

this will start xwin (the GUI) in the chosen video settings.

Idea
