COM, LPT und USB unter Wine nutzen

Viele unter Wine eingesetzten Programme benötigen die LPT, COM oder USB-Schnittstelle.
Hier und da findet man einzelne Hinweise wie das funktionieren kann:

hier gibt es auch noch das:

Symlink auf /dev/usb/ttyUSB0 mit dem Namen com5 (ziffer egal).
Den dann in den dosdevice-Ordner von .wine legen. Läuft!

Vielleicht sind ja wirklich nur ein paar kleine Definitionen erforderlich aber wie:
Wie geht das genau:
1. "simply create a symbolic link in ~/.wine/dosdevices with the name of the device."
2. "You should link these directly to the corresponding Unix devices, such as /dev/ttyS0 and /dev/lp0"
