Now I'm confused: which kernel does 1.0.3 use?

The webpage says 1.0.3 runs 2.6 but uname -a tells me I'm running 2.4?
running off the puppy-1.0.3-mozilla.iso

Puppy 1.0.2 uses the 2.6 kernel and for 1.0.3 Barry has gone back to the 2.4 kernel.
