Introducing myself...

#1 Post by 2XL »

Forgive me if this is the wrong area.

I thought I'd introduce myself (finally). I am 2XL which is actually "Too Excel" and not the clothes size.

Puppy is really dear to my heart. Not only is is Aussie made, but the community and everything about it just puts it right up there above pretty much any other distro. Mr Barry Kauler is just awesome and so are you - the community.

No other Linux community can come close to that of the Puppy Linux community.

What you, the community have achieved here is something that virtually every other Linux commnity lacks. You should all be very proud, I know I am.

Anyway, I'll be around quite a bit (a lot) and I'll help out where I can.

Greetings.

hi dude

im also from australia (tasmania) and have been using linux since 1998 but only as a passing interest until 2007 or so when i actually started to contemplate weening off of windows. im older, 32 now. Yes Puppy has a tight knit community. If it wasnt for the irc freenode channel #puppylinux i would never have been able to use linux as my exclusive OS, nothing else online has such a useful free help system. They literally turned me from a newbie to a pro in a few weeks.
