broadcom sta drivers and latest aircrack

#1 Post by Judge22 »

Everyone hi.
I'm requesting for the pet package with latest broadcom sta drivers http://www.broadcom.com/support/802.11/linux_sta.php both x32 and x64.
x32 for slacko 5.3.1 with kernel 2.6.37 or 3.1.0 (preferable)
x64 for fatdog 521 with keгnel 3.0.3.

I've failed to compile it myself with
http://www.ehow.com/how_7409148_add-sta ... linux.htmlthis guide. I'm especially interested in possibility of turning my 43224 broadcom card into monitor mode
HOW TO USE MONITOR MODE
-----------------------
To enable monitor mode:
$ echo 1 > /proc/brcm_monitor0

Enabling monitor mode will create a 'prism0' network interface. Wireshark and
other netwokk tools can use this new prism0 interface.

To disable monitor mode:
$ echo 0 > /proc/brcm_monitor0
I'd also be thankful for working pet with latest aircrack 1.1 http://www.aircrack-ng.org/ for above mentioned distros.
Previously shared pet with aircrack-ng http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=18030 didn't work correctly (airmon-ng and airodump-ng missed).

1.0.1 version http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=60202 though works fine.
