It is not about Puppy and not about Linux Security
but about Mobile Cell Phones on GSM and what gets hacked
is the SMS so the criminals can make expensive calls that you
have to pay or if you can give evidence you got hacked maybe
your Operator or Carrier agree that they should have tighter
security and it was not you to blame for the cost them got.

Now Daily Mail is a Tabloid but the text can still be true.

Read about it here
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/ ... texts.html

So why do I tell about it here when it is not about Puppy or Linux or even Computers?

Because most Puppy owners do have a simple phone with SMS texting.
I care about us so I share the info okay :)

Pay as you go is the answer no credit no calls

Hmm it says they"collect their cash and move on" . How would that be possible ?
They can make calls to premium services but how many call girl services can they take in a day?

They are criminals so they own these numbers they send sms to
and taht way they get the money. That is how I understand it?

But I did only take a very hasty look.

Anyway I wish there where some easy way to lock out sms to such things.
To tell my carrier operator to lock them out so I don't get abused.
