You can try these 2 backgrounds:

Then right-click desktop - special fx-settings - ripples.
Now the bottom of your desktop is animated.

(I am the one who asked about animating the desktop)

I can see that, before I am truly satisfied with Puppy, I am going to need to study Linux and learn to code. Well, 20 years ago I was competent in FORTRAN and COBOL, 15 years ago I gained high proficiency in Clipper Summer '87...so how difficult can C be...it also appears that, if I am going to get Puppy 2 to boot from my flash drive, connected through my PCMCIA USB adapter, then I am likewise going to have to learn C and explore the guts of Puppy and learn to custom-compile the kernel... :twisted:
